2008 Show Marks 20th Annual

The 20th Annual Fort Frances Home & Leisure Show had to be one of the best ones yet enthused Chamber Manager Dawn Booth upon review of the two-day show.  "It was absolutly fabulous!  We were jam-packed full with exhibitors and saw close to 4,000 people through the doors.  It was just great - definitely one of the best, if not THE best one wev're ever held".

The 20th Annual show had something for everyone including:

  • two ice surfaces with close to 70 exhibitors from across Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and Minnesota
  • Opening Ceremonies featuring the Fort Frances Highlanders
  • $1,000 admission draw
  • PLINKO!!!
  • Badiuk Equipment's Annual Boat Show
  • Kid's Corner with play area, colouring contest, face painting, and Grampa Magic
  • Gamer's Corner by Global Gaming
  • Skateboard Park Demonstrations
  • Performances, Food Vendors, Interactive Displays
  • Draws! Contests! Prizes!
  • Exhibitor Mix & Mingle
  • and so much more!!!

2007 Home Show Another Huge Success!

The 2007 Fort Frances Home & Leisure Show was another huge success with close to 70 exhibitors from across Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and Minnesota on two ice surfaces.  Various events and activities were planned throughout the weekend including:

  • Badiuk Equipment's Annual Boat Show
  • FFHS Chem-Free Grad's Cake Roulette
  • seminars on fishing and outdoor photography by Gord Ellis, outdoor journalist, broadcaster and professional angler from Thunder Bay, Ontario
  • Children’s Section with toys, games, face painting, and magic shows
  • Seats for Senior’s with benches, extra seating and potted flowers in and around the show floor
  • tons of Draws! Prizes! Contests!,
  • Exhibitor Mix & Mingle
  • and and so much more!
