Fort Frances Business After Hours Event

On Friday, September 15th, 2017 the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce along with the Copper River Inn will be hosting a Business After Hours event from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at the Copper River Inn for all Chamber of Commerce members in good standing.
This will be a wonderful time of networking and socializing. The Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce is excited to have as a special guest speaker that evening the Minister of Energy - the Hon. Glenn Thibeault to address our membership. This is an excellent opportunity for members to meet with the Minister and listen to him speak and have the chance to address any questions or concerns they have.
There is no admission fee for the event and there will be complementary hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar as well as door prizes. Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP the Chamber at 807-274-5773 or with the number of attendees by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 12th.

Contact the Chamber for registration form and rules at 274-5773 or by email at

As many of you may be aware the Chamber of Commerce has been actively looking to relocate the Chamber Office for some time now.  After considering numerous possibilities a recommendation was brought and passed at the last Board Meeting in June to move the Chamber Office into the open, vacant office space on the lower level of the Kenora-Rainy River District Child and Family Services Building.

We will be moving into the new location this weekend (October 3rd, 2015) and will be open for business from that new address Monday October 5th.  Our new address will be as follows:

 Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce
Suite 102, 240 First Street East

Fort Frances, ON   P9A 1K5

Due to the fact that we will be moving in such a short time the office will be closed this Thursday and Friday to pack and prepare everything for the move.  With that said we are looking for volunteers who would be willing to donate an hour of their time to assist in helping to pack boxes.  The more hands we have to help, the lighter the work load and the quicker/simpler the transition will be.

As upstanding members of our Chamber we sincerely hope that we can count on you during this busy time.
